Village Walk and Heimablídni in Leirvík

Join us for a light evening walk through the peaceful village of Leirvík. Over about 1½ hours, your guide will take you on a relaxed stroll between colourful houses and narrow paths, sharing stories, legends, and everyday life in the Faroes.

The walk ends at Áargarður, where you’ll be welcomed into Lilja’s home for a traditional Heimablídni – Faroese home hospitality at its best. Enjoy a rich bowl of homemade fish soup, served with warm bread, local butter, and a glass of wine. There’s always room for a second helping, and the meal finishes with coffee or tea and a sweet homemade dessert.
