Syðrugøta Beach

The beach in Syðrugøta is undoubtedly the largest playground in the entire municipality – given to us by nature. In late June the new gymnasium graduates gather on the beach for a part of their dimission, and for one weekend in July the beach is transformed into a part of the G! musical festival. But in fact the beach is a special place that is truly for everyone: it’s always worth visiting.

There is something magical about the beach, whether on a beautiful sunny day with lots of people, or on a rugged winter’s day, with the surf breaking on the empty sand.
